Subject: Hello DynoMotion Group

Hi everyone –

I just signed up for the group and wanted to introduce myself.

My name is Dave Beardsley, I live in Snohomish, WA USA. I'm running the latest version of KmotionCNC to control a machine that was built for me by Carl Bruce in Bremerton, WA

I've been running my machine for about 8 months. The vertical learning curve is just starting to level off :)

My entire career has been as a CAD / Class A Surfacing consultant. I've spent the last 20+ years creating crazy shaped products in CAD, but never being able to make them. All of my CNC experience prior to my machine has been with large VMC's or most recently the new Datron gantry style machines.

I do most of my CAD and NC programming in Creo2

I still haven't cut any 2D parts. So far all my stuff has been 3D. Mostly I'm doing molds for the UAV industry. I've only cut wood twice. I'm mostly cutting machine grade plastics and aluminum.

I hope to learn from all you and contribute whenever I can!

Thanks,
Dave

Hey Dave,

Welcome aboard.

I t sounds like you have been involved in some pretty cool stuff!

I have only been here a few months, but I have learned that if you need
help, the folks here are the best.

All the best,
David.
